Your care. Your space.
Help & safe use
Effective October 25, 2026 · Version 1.0
Keep a personal record of the plan you agreed with your clinician. Medicine Notes does not prescribe medicines, choose a dose, check interactions, or replace professional care.
Start with your prescription
Add a medicine, confirm its name, strength, amount and unit, then enter optional times. Record only your prescribed or otherwise professionally confirmed plan. The amount starts as an editable form value; it is not a dose recommendation.
Record what happened
Use Taken to record the current time. Use Log intake for another time, a note, or an approximate time. Review and correct entries in Journal. A recorded dose is your entry, not proof that a medicine was taken.
Review every scan and description
A label photo can reduce typing. OCR and Apple Intelligence can misread a name, strength, unit or quantity. Compare suggestions with the original label and your prescription before saving. A short AI description can be wrong and is not a verified drug monograph.
Reminders are an aid
Allow notifications and check device settings. Focus, silent mode, time-zone changes, system limits and device state can affect reminders. Do not rely on one reminder channel when a missed dose could cause harm. A reminder can appear after you logged a dose; it does not mean you should take another one.
Stock, units and bundles
Supply is an estimate calculated from your entries. Confirm the actual stock. Unit changes use the conversion you enter; the app does not know clinical equivalence. A bundle is a shortcut for recording separate medicines. It does not check whether medicines can safely be taken together.
Keep a private copy
Use Settings > Export all data as JSON before replacing this device. Exports are not encrypted and include label photos and removed records. Store them securely. There is no automatic app sync or cloud recovery in this version.
Get help
Use Contact support for app problems. Give the app version, iOS or iPadOS version, and steps to reproduce the problem. Do not send medical records or backup files. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about medication decisions. For urgent health concerns, seek local medical help instead of waiting for app support.
